About Ida
With 18 years of tutoring experience, I have had the pleasure of teaching Trumpet to High School students, College students, and adults. Over the years, I have successfully taught around 300 students, helping them improve their knowledge, confidence, and practical skills. My experience has taught me that every learner has different strengths, so I always adjust my teaching methods to meet individual needs.
My teaching philosophy focuses on making learning simple, enjoyable, and meaningful. I believe students perform better when they understand the purpose behind every lesson. I use clear explanations, practical examples, and regular practice to make learning easier. I also encourage students to ask questions freely because curiosity leads to better understanding.
Each lesson is carefully planned with achievable goals. I begin with basic concepts, strengthen core skills, and gradually introduce more advanced topics. I provide continuous feedback and encourage students to practice consistently to build confidence and long-term improvement.
Teaching around 300 students has been one of my greatest achievements. Many of my students have successfully improved their performance, reached personal goals, and developed confidence through dedicated practice. Their success inspires me to continue providing high-quality education.
I believe patience, honesty, communication, and encouragement create the best learning environment. My classroom is welcoming, respectful, and positive, allowing students to learn comfortably without fear of making mistakes. My aim is to help every student enjoy learning Trumpet while developing strong skills that will benefit them in their studies and future growth.

My teaching approach for Trumpet combines technical training, musical understanding, and personalized guidance. I use Communication as a foundation to explain trumpet concepts clearly and help students overcome learning challenges. Since every learner has different abilities, I apply Adaptation to Learning Styles to create lessons that match their individual needs and learning preferences.
I use Real-life examples and case studies from orchestras, bands, solo performances, and professional musicians to show how trumpet skills are used in real musical situations.
I also support students in related subjects including Music Theory, Ear Training, Rhythm Training, Sight Reading, and Performance Techniques. My focus is on developing strong fundamentals, improving musical expression, and building confidence. I want every student to enjoy the learning process while becoming a skilled and passionate trumpet player.
