Everyone learns differently, and I want my lessons to reflect that. I don't believe in teaching everyone the exact same way. I can use visuals, diagrams, colors, written examples, demonstrations, practice problems, and step-by-step explanations to help students understand the material.
I especially like using visuals because having something to look at while learning can make complicated topics much easier to understand. I also adjust my teaching based on what works best for each student, whether they learn better by seeing, hearing, doing, or using a combination of methods. My goal is for students to actually understand what they're learning and feel more confident doing it on their own.
