About Samantha
Officially, I'm Dr. Sam Dean, Founder & CEO of Pawsibly Yours, a swipe-based dog adoption app designed to help people find their perfect pup match.
Unofficially, I'm an animal lover with a big brain, a thirst for learning, a passion for teaching, and just enough delusion to think I can change the world.
Before Pawsibly Yours, I built Ad Creations Marketing, where I've spent 12 years helping businesses make sense of audience behavior, research, messaging, email marketing, Meta ads, campaign strategy, and digital systems. Today, my marketing work lets me keep building Pawsibly Yours independently and intentionally.
My background includes a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Political Economy, an MBA in Marketing and Sustainable Business, and experience across marketing strategy, research, higher education, workforce development, patient-centered programming, and ethical AI-supported systems.

My teaching method and technique vary based on the student(s). In a one-on-one setting, we first figure out how to work together in a way that works well for the individual student's learning style.
My lesson plans typically cover only one topic at a time and are very hands-on when possible. I've been working in marketing for 12 years and specialize in creating strategies, but can teach a variety of marketing & business topics including:
• Digital Marketing & AI
• Branding & Consumer Trust
• Market Strategy & Analytics
• Market Research
The lesson plans are customized to meet the goals of the individual.
I hold a B.A. in English, an M.B.A with emphasis areas in marketing and sustainable business, and a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Political Economy. I also have ADHD and understand the way it impacts female learners. This sets me apart from other tutors.
I'm happy to tutor any level, but work best with older teens and adults.
