About Marzio

My name is Marzio and I am a multi-instrumentalist, my first instrument are drums and percussion; I also play guitar and bass guitar. I attended the Sicilian National School of Music and I performed numerous times with artists from all over the world. Teaching it’s always been my passion as I am an enthusiastic performer with a soft spot for people that share my same interests.

I started to approach music at primary school, in Palermo, where I learned the basics of the drums, and how to play with other musicians. In fact, I started playing in several bands going forward. I graduated in HND Music at Edinburgh college where I focused on improving my performance and studio skills while also studying music education and instrumental instruction. I had been delivering drums lessons part-time for almost 10 years specialising in live performance, studio and remote recording, songwriting and school tuition.

About the lesson

I offer excellent and friendly, private one to one drum tutoring. I tailor each lesson to suit individual requirements, whether they require support for school examinations or just wishing to learn drums as a hobby.
If you are a beginner or an experienced player striving to improve your skills, I will create a personalised drumming program to help you reach your goals.
I can provide both face to face or online session. All age and levels of drumming welcomed.

Perfect! Marzio is a great teacher and a fantastic musician. Friendly and approachable from the get go and quickly felt comfortable. Weather your starting out from scratch or jumping back in after some time away, I highly recommend going with Marzio. After just two lessons with him, I feel comfortable behind the kit again and am excited about learning music again, and that's thanks to Marzio's skill as a teacher and his passion for music which is clear through speaking to him.
