I’m a Maths tutor with over 7 years of experience and an MSc in Computational Mathematics. My passion lies in making advanced mathematical concepts accessible and meaningful, especially for non-STEM majors. I focus on conceptual understanding and relevance rather than heavy computation, helping students see the ideas behind the numbers. I also weave in historical context, showing how mathematical ideas evolved and why they matter today. This approach transforms maths from a set of procedures into a living story. Much of my work has been with liberal arts students, humanities scholars, and those who once believed mathematics was beyond them. Many of them come with past experiences of maths phobia, and together we work to replace fear with curiosity. I guide students to see mathematics as an intellectual adventure rather than a hurdle. My teaching uncovers the big ideas behind complex theories, helping learners build deeper understanding and lasting skills. Over time, students gain confidence not only in solving problems but in appreciating the elegance of mathematics. I believe mathematics is a universal language that shapes how we understand the world.
