About Max

I am a recent Master of Clinical Psychology graduate (currently on my extended break for self-care!) and an official tutor for the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences. Given my experience as a student that has gone through the arduous psych pathway at Unimelb and now as an Undergraduate Psychology tutor for MSPS, I want to help as much as I can with my vast knowledge of the materials, assessments, and courses here at Unimelb. I understand the hardships in pursuing long term goals within the psych career (whether that is masters’ course, PhD, or something else..) and so my main motivation for doing this is to help as many people achieve this as I can - the world certainly needs more psychologists and psychology researchers.

I am available for tutoring Undergraduate, Honours, and Masters subjects, as well as proofreading essays/lab reports/theses.

Max has been my private tutor at UniMelb throughout my whole undergrad major in psychology. He is a super patient and helpful tutor who has given me incredibly valuable insights for my psychology subjects. He is also very professional yet flexible for our sessions. Max’s proofreading is of excellent quality, where he consistently provides thoughtful, detailed, and well-reasoned suggestions about my assignments. I honestly felt like I would not have made it past my psychology major with a H1 average has it not been for him. I am now counting on his vast knowledge and experience about clinical psychology to help me in my pursuit of this career. I cannot recommend him enough as a tutor - he is the man!

Max is an amazing tutor who has helped me throughout my tough Honours year this year! His knowledge of the subjects and the thesis writing process has helped me tremendously. Not only this, he has been so supportive and encouraging which helps me persist when going through big Honours challenges. He is very approachable and passionate in his teaching which I found has been hard to find with other tutors. I highly recommend him as a tutor!!
