About Cielo
I am a dedicated computer programming tutor with 6 years of teaching experience, passionate about helping students turn challenging coding concepts into practical, understandable skills. I work with learners from K-12 through the first year of college, adapting my teaching style to suit different abilities, academic levels, and learning objectives.
Over the years, I have guided students through programming fundamentals, computational thinking, algorithms, debugging, data structures, object-oriented programming, databases, and project development. My computer programming lessons are designed to make coding clear, practical, and enjoyable for students from K-12 through the first year of college. I focus on building a strong foundation while helping learners develop logical thinking, analytical skills, and confidence in solving programming challenges. Each session is adapted to the student’s current level, learning pace, academic requirements, and individual goals.
We can explore programming fundamentals such as variables, data types, operators, conditional statements, loops, functions, arrays, object-oriented concepts, algorithms, and debugging. Depending on your curriculum, I can also support Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, SQL, and other commonly studied programming languages.
My approach combines concise explanations with demonstrations, guided exercises, coding practice, and real-world examples. Rather than simply memorizing syntax, students learn why code works, how to identify errors, and how to create efficient solutions independently. I also provide support with assignments, projects, exam preparation, and challenging concepts.
