About Paige
I am a current student in my Master of Counselling program. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simon Fraser University with a minor in Human Development and Counselling. In any job that I have held I have always held professional boundaries and been keen to be in a helping role. I have worked a great deal with children and youth in both my past work and volunteer experiences.
In my spare time I enjoy anytime spent in the mountains, including mountain biking, hiking, and camping.

You should take lessons with me as I am all about ensuring that the student is engaged and enjoying themselves. I like to use props and hands on activities with younger students. I love making learning fun and engaging for students.
A typical lesson plan would start with an overview of what we covered in the past tutoring sessions and then I would lay out the plan for the day. This would be an opportunity for the student to ask questions or to add anything they would like covered. We would then cover the lesson and I would leave lots of opportunities for questions.
What sets me apart as a tutor is I have always enjoyed learning myself and want to share this passion with others. I am always trying to continue my own education and I truly feel that learning is a collaborative experience.
The lessons would be for mostly elementary and middle school aged children. I am most comfortable tutoring in english and social sciences.
