About Anto
I am a practicing visual artist, with painting as my core medium. I have experience in both the design and art world, with background study and experience in architecture. I have been making images for over 15 years across a range of mediums and functions; analog and digital, art and illustration. Since graduating from art school, I have enjoyed returning to Elam as a part-time teacher for undergraduates. I have found this to be one of the most stimulating occupations I have ever undertaken, quickly growing a passion for the profession. I am very aware that every individual has their own way of learning, and I am dedicated to engaging every student's ideal learning scenario. I offer flexibility in my teaching sessions, calling on all of my skills across a range of applications to cater to your individual interests and ambitions.

I have had 2+ years of teaching experience at the University of Auckland's Elam School of Fine Arts and Design, having recently graduated myself with a Master of Fine Arts. I have taught across a range of courses at the undergraduate level, both online and in person. In-person teaching has ranged from one-on-one to small class groups where I engage both conceptual and practical concerns with art making. I specialize in painting and drawing, as well as Adobe software for graphic design and illustration. My offering is flexible, with the ability to call on a range of both analog and digital image making skills - including the combination of the two.
