About Caroline
I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's degree in both Theater Studies and Creative Writing. Additionally, I also hold an MA in Theater Studies from the same university, and I'm now finishing up my MFA in Creative Writing.
When I'm not performing or writing, I can usually be found spending time with my loving rescue pup, Winston, and my sassy bearded dragon, Bumpy. I am a big fan of video games, television, and film.

My approach to tutoring is built around the idea that no two students learn in exactly the same way. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all method, I take time to understand how each student thinks, writes, and learns so we can develop strategies that work for them. My goal isn’t just to help students complete an assignment—it’s to help them become more confident, independent writers.
Lessons are highly personalized depending on the student’s goals. We might focus on brainstorming ideas, organizing essays, strengthening thesis statements, improving grammar and style, preparing for exams, or developing creative writing projects. I believe revision is one of the most valuable parts of the writing process, so I work collaboratively with students to identify what’s already working and build from there instead of simply pointing out mistakes.
What sets me apart is my background as both a professional writer and an educator. I hold master’s degrees in Theatre Studies and Creative Writing with a focus on playwriting, and I have experience teaching, mentoring, and providing dramaturgical feedback to writers at different stages of their development. Whether we’re working on an academic essay, college application, literary analysis, or a creative writing project, I emphasize clear communication, and critical thinking.
I work with middle school, high school, college, and adult learners. I can help with English coursework, literary analysis, essays, research papers, creative writing, playwriting, screenwriting, personal statements, scholarship essays, and general writing skills. Whether you need long-term support or help with a single assignment, my goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and growing as a writer.
