About Lianna
I am a current Master's by Research (MRes) Environmental Science student at the University of Dundee. I previously graduated in 2020, achieving a 2:1 in BSc (Hons) Environmental Science, while working part-time and being on the University's Equestrian committee.
My main focus is hydrology, coastal morphology, and glaciology, but I can also offer support with Nat 5/Higher Geography, GIS, RStudio, biogeography, environmental policy, and reconstructing past environments. More general areas I can also help with are essay writing, personal statement writing, and dissertation planning.

My teaching methods will be tailored to your needs. For the first lesson (free of charge) we will discuss what you would like to get out of our lessons, set some clear goals, and work out a lesson plan.
I will never give 'lectures' as this is not an effective way to learn. The best way to learn is by 'doing'. Lessons will focus more on practicing examples, questions, and exercises. However, some theories will also be involved, which we will discuss together.
My lesson structure:
5-10 min - go through any homework or questions from the last lesson
20-30 min - go through new content together
15-20 min - work on examples and questions
Most importantly though, this is your class! We will monitor your learning together, and we can adapt as required. I am here to simply facilitate your learning and help you realise your potential and your goals.
