About Derek

I am a Master's student at Western Washington University with a passion for biological and organic sciences and mathematics. I've tutored countless students on physics, calculus, and organic chemistry through the years. I currently teach two classes on organic chemistry and am confident with the right guidance, anyone can can succeed.

About the lesson

We all know how useless memorizing strings of information can seem, and I agree. Without a solid foundation in mathematics or science, new subjects can seem daunting or unrelated, which is why my teaching methodology is to work from the ground up. Once a deep seated understanding has been laid, the "harder" stuff is a piece of cake.
