Reach your language goals with dynamic and engaging online lessons in Portuguese as a Second Language (PLE). With a bachelor’s degree in Portuguese and French, an ESL teaching specialisation, a master's degree in progress and over 6 years of experience in language teaching and tutoring, I bring both expertise and enthusiasm to every class.
My teaching approach blends established language learning materials with personalized resources that I develop with each student in mind, ensuring that each lesson is both effective and enjoyable.
As a linguist and scientist currently pursuing my master’s degree, I bring a unique, research-based perspective to my teaching, as I firmly believe that understanding the science behind language structures can make learning easier and more intuitive. My goal for my online classes is to blend different approaches, making use of the communicative approach (CLT) and task-supported teaching (TSTL) while integrating content from different areas into the learning process.
My Beginner Portuguese Lessons are for teenagers and adults who want to reach an A1 or A2 level. If you are a bit more experienced (or just want to practice), I also offer Conversation Classes for all levels (from A1 to C2). The classes have a duration of 1h10 and can be either private or in groups.
