I understand that stepping into advanced levels of learning can be challenging and may often leave students feeling overwhelmed. I have a passion for maths, and I want to share its beauty with you! It doesn't always have to be a slog to get through your homework, or to study for your exam, and I also want to help students step back to appreciate the elegance of the big picture.

Hello there!

I'm a Master's student at the University of Queensland and hold a Bachelor of Science majoring in mathematics. Although I'm relatively new to professional tutoring, I have been deeply involved in guiding my girlfriend through her introduction to science and mathematics at university, aiding her to achieve 7s (the highest grade at University of Queensland). I am excited to bring that same enthusiasm and care to tutoring others.

My Approach to Tutoring:

In the heart of my tutoring lies a laid-back and understanding approach. I believe that the best way to learn is when you're relaxed and curious. My sessions aren't just about solving problems, but also about making connections to real-world applications and exploring cool references. This makes learning more enjoyable, engaging and relatable.

I'm a firm believer in the power of technology in education. Hence, I employ tools like Zoom and screen-sharing to communicate and demonstrate concepts interactively. During our sessions, I'll illustrate problems, draw diagrams, and use digital tools to help you visualize and understand the complexities of maths and computer science. It's like being in the same room, just online!

My Experience and Qualifications:

Although new to tutoring professionally, I've found that kindness, patience, and empathy can be more effective than years of experience. I am known for my understanding nature and my ability to empathize with those struggling with concepts that might seem daunting at first. This empathy helps me tailor my teaching style to suit your unique learning style and pace.
