As a tutor with a background as a full-time instructor and a current coding class instructor, I have developed a teaching approach that emphasizes both understanding and practical application. While pursuing my master's in computer science at USC, specializing in web development and Python, I have refined methods that cater to students at varying levels, from beginners to advanced learners. My methodology is interactive and student-centered, focusing on real-world applications of coding principles. I employ a mix of lectures, hands-on projects, and live coding sessions, which allows students to learn by doing and seeing. A typical lesson begins with a brief overview of the day’s topic, followed by a detailed discussion and interactive examples. The session usually involves a coding challenge or project work that relates directly to the topic, encouraging students to apply what they've learned immediately. What differentiates me is my dedication to adapting my teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student, coupled with my real-world experience as a professional web developer and Python programmer.
