My teaching approach is designed to help students develop both technical skill and musical expression on the violin. I focus on classical repertoire while encouraging creative improvisation to make learning enjoyable and personal. Rhythm precision, bowing techniques, and finger placement are emphasised to build a solid foundation. I integrate ensemble skills, teaching students how to play confidently with others and understand musical interplay. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and goals, whether starting fresh or refining advanced skills. I provide exercises that strengthen intonation, phrasing, and musical interpretation. For those exploring performance or public playing, I guide them to gain confidence and overcome stage challenges. Creative exercises and improvisation help students find their unique musical voice. I combine structured practice with interactive, fun activities to maintain engagement. Cultural context and historical background are woven into lessons to deepen understanding of pieces. I encourage consistent practice while celebrating small achievements to keep motivation high. My goal is to help students excel and enjoy the journey of learning the violin. Each session is designed to inspire growth, musicality, and a lasting passion for the instrument.
