About Hazel
My teaching methodology for Violin is centered around a personalized, student-focused approach that ensures every lesson is engaging, challenging, and rewarding. I incorporate real-life examples and case studies to demonstrate how violin skills can be applied in various musical contexts, helping students see the relevance of what they are learning. Problem-solving is a key aspect of my methodology; I encourage students to analyze and troubleshoot technical challenges, fostering independent thinking and resilience. Creativity is also emphasized, as I believe that a student’s unique expression is integral to their musical journey. I hold my students accountable by setting clear goals and tracking progress, motivating them to stay committed and continuously improve. I believe in building confidence through consistent practice and encouragement, helping students stay motivated even when facing difficulties. Besides Violin, I offer support in related areas such as music theory, ear training, and performance techniques, ensuring a well-rounded musical education. Each lesson is crafted to inspire growth and a deeper passion for music.
