About Jacob
I started tutoring because I remember when I needed a tutor. I cannot describe the relief I was given from my tutor and how much better I felt once I started to grasp the material more. My goal is to provide the same assurance in anyone I tutor. I pride myself in, not only providing quality teaching, but in ensuring my students feel comfortable and confident in our sessions and material.

I have an undergraduate degree in physics and a master's degree in engineering physics. As an undergraduate physics student, I worked for the university as a tutor and as a graduate student I taught undergraduate physics laboratories. I have experience tutoring across a wide range of mathematics, from algebra to calculus, and in physics, from introductory to classical mechanics to electromagnetic waves and optics. I also have experience in electrical and computer engineering and could tutor topics such as basic circuitry, digital logic, sensors and transducers, data analysis, firmware languages, and more.
