About Jessie
I've taught for 16yrs with students ranging from age 4 to age 76. I enjoy building a relationship with my learners so I can take what interests them and create a more personalized learning experience. In my experience students are much more engaged when they see a direct connection between their interests or the real world and the material.

I like to teach using the Project Based Learning system. I think students enjoy a hands on approach to learning and it sticks. I currently teach STEAM and Computer Science where I do a demonstration of what we are learning about and then follow with some guided practice. Students work on similar materials or problems using the same systems.
