About Igor
I’m looking to teach GCSE students Biology and Chemistry principles to support them in achieving the grades that truly represent their abilities. After achieving all A* at GCSE I understand what it takes to get high grades and where their problem areas are which can vary from topic to topic and subject to subject. Switching my attitudes and finding my own problem areas in Year 9 I went from getting 4s and 5s in all subjects to mostly 9s and some 8s; this ended up motivating me to pursue sciences at a university level and becoming fluent in 4 languages (English, Russian, Mandarin and Spanish).

I strive to give young students strategies and most importantly support in how to achieve high grades and succeed in whatever they put their mind to. I’ve found that it’s not a lack of knowledge that limits a student but more often their lack of understanding and relationships with a subject.
