My Mandarin teaching technique is engaging and conversational. Typically, a lesson begins with a practical linguistic starter like "How was your day?". Following this, you'll transition into different scenarios, such as ordering from a server in a restaurant or recounting a horror story to a cousin, always aiming to make the class enjoyable. My tutoring experience began at 15, tutoring younger students in my school for extra classes. At 18, I worked in a tuition centre with structured learning modules, teaching students aged 8 to 22. Later, during university, I taught online, focusing on speaking skills for professionals in corporate jobs, ranging from 30 to 45 years old.
