About Grace
I'm Grace, I spent the majority of my childhood in Spain before moving to the UK and found art a form of communication during this difficult change.
I studied fine art and photography for the majority of my schooling, focusing on Graphic Design during my time at the university, and focusing further on Illustration during my postgraduate studies.
I find teaching art to be incredibly interesting and rewarding. I regard art as a form of communication and self-expression, it is therefore incredibly specific to each individual. I found myself through my art and hope to help my students explore this form of expression and have fun doing it, while not disregarding the important technical aspects of the craft.

I work in a wide range of techniques, with fine art training in acrylic and oil painting along with various drawing styles, I hope to pass my knowledge on.
Lessons typically last an hour, with options for longer. We will be going through specific techniques, advancing the student's technical skills before moving on to larger pieces. We will review historically significant artists and their personal styles to develop the student's own.
Each student will have their own personal growth path, depending on their intended outcome, skill level, and interest area.
I've worked as an art tutor for younger children, helping them discover their creativity and express themselves through art. Assisting at secondary school level to assist the advancement of technique-specific skills and brief consideration. I myself am currently studying for a master's degree in illustration at the Glasgow School of Art to advance my skills in a more specific industry, so I know the importance of teaching.
I work with any age over 10.
I aim for my lessons to help students harness their creativity in a way that best suits individual needs. Whether you have a child with a keen interest in the arts, a student studying for their GCSE's or simply looking to explore your more creative side while learning, I'm here to assist you on your journey.
