About Greg
I have been teaching/tutoring for over five years. Classes include calculus, pre-calculus, algebra, geometry, statistics, and physics. I have also tutored all of these subjects, plus chemistry, engineering, computer programming, and test taking skills in mathematics. Approximately 80% of my students are repeat clients. All of my students improved in their course work and those taking the ACT/SAT improved their score, on average, by 25%.

Retied PhD research mechanical engineer who worked in the following areas: magnetohydrodynamics, nuclear engineering, systems analysis, computer modeling, fossil fuel technology, advanced power plants, program/project management, fluid dynamics and structural analysis.
For last several years I have been teaching/tutoring mathematics and science, principally at high school and college level. I specialize in improving test taking skills. When tutoring students who need help in a certain class or subject I answer questions, show alternative ways of solving a problem when they exist. My principle goal is to teach and understanding and the skills required to self-learn.
