About Mantas
When I was still a student, I sat dozens, no, hundreds of hours in lectures which were purely boring. Now that may sound unappealing, but it made me wonder and imagine how awesome and inspiring these topics could be with just a bit more passion and an experiment here and there. So teaching for me is this journey, getting from boring and dry physics theory to a marvellous world to be discovered. It is my greatest passion and I would love you to be a part of it. In short, my experience: • 4 years of tutoring experience; • 2 years of in-class teaching experience; • UCL Physics graduate (1st class honours); • "Teach first" graduate (most prestigious and well regarded teaching programme in Lithuania, with 5% acceptance rate); • Vilnius university graduate from teacher training program with the highest possible grade (10/10). • International Baccalaureate (IB) graduate from an international school

I have over 2000 hours of teaching and tutoring experience at various levels, from age 10 to university level and adult learners. Most importantly, teaching is my absolute joy and my greatest passion. I am capable of quickly establishing a connection with my students, bringing quality lessons, with real life examples from my own experience, while also staying very sensitive and attentive to student emotions and feelings, which I always take into account when teaching. During my lessons I also include experiments and demonstrations to illustrate the theory. My former students are currently studying physics and engineering in various universities in UK, the Netherlands, Germany and Lithuania. I also worked as a physicist at British Antarctic Survey in Cambridge, UK and Fermilab, Chicago, USA, thus, I often bring real-life examples from current research. My lessons usually last 50min.
