I have been tutoring for over 5 years and have a BS in Applied Math from CCNY. I have taught student privates or in groups at tutorials in a variety of math subjects such as algebra, trig, calc 1 and 2 and differential equations.

I discuss the student's proficiency then teach them the relevant concepts and then give them guided practice problems. If they can do those, I then test them with more difficult problems. My teaching method differs from student to student as each one learns differently.
