About Ashley
I've scored an 86/100 on the military ASVAB recently. I was number 3 in my class in high school, and I had the highest SAT in the class with 1250. I've worked closely with children since I was young, and in high school, I was also the go-to when help was needed. In several cases, I've trained to "untrainable," and I am great at it.

I've been helping my siblings and cousins with their schoolwork since we were kids, so I've always had the "magic touch" when it comes to breaking down concepts. Because everyone learns differently, I tend to have them solve a problem, and then have them explain their steps as well as their answer. From there, the plan depends on the student. On younger children, we can make up songs and/or games to grasp the concept, before working hand-in-hand on problem solving. Older kids tend to work great with a good call-and-response plan, with them solving a problem first, and then I would go behind them and show them step-by-step how to get to the right answer. They also work well with remembering phrases like PEMDAS and ROY G BIV for example. I can tutor elementary to high school.
