About Colin
I have a Bachelors of Science degree from Western Washington University (2017). The last 3 years of college I worked as a math tutor through the math department at WWU. Here students would work on homework problems and ask for assistance when they ran into difficulty. In this setting I helped a lot of students, perhaps 40 per week.

When I worked at the math tutoring center in college we learned valuable teaching techniques in weekly meetings. What I've found to work best is to work on problems focused on subjects the student is struggling with and build knowledge and confidence by starting with simple problems and offering a bit of help and progressively work on harder problems giving less help.

I will probably charge more for clients that are more inconvenient to travel to meet with, but I hope to accommodate most people in the Vancouver area by grouping sessions one after the other on certain days. This will depend on demand.
