In the beginning, my son was taking classes to sharpen his skills for various math competitions. Anirban worked on sharpening speed and accuracy that are critical to such tests. Following that, he worked with my son on new content areas that only helped reinforce what was being taught at school but also kept him moving ahead at a steady pace. Anirban is an excellent math teacher! He taught both of our boys math for 4 years. He is really good in explaining the concepts in simplest way to kids. He always used to ask questions and try to understand how much the kids grasped the concept and if anything is missing he would repeat it again. He taught them the fastest and efficient way to solve the problems. My son was very frustrated in math. He was really falling behind and he had developed quite a negative attitude towards his math. As a last resort, we decided to try a tutor. I was a little skeptical however, we are very pleased! I wish we would have called Anirban a lot sooner. Anirban is so patient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I love how he goes through my son's math assignments and teaches him all the basics that he sees my son is missing in order to properly complete his homework. My son's math mark has improved dramatically, and we only started with Anirban at the beginning of my son's 7th grade year.
