About Darryl
Hi, I’m Darryl — a dedicated and results-driven math tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed. I’m currently a Mathematics and Computer Science major at the University of Florida, and I’ve spent over two years tutoring students in a variety of settings, from public and private schools to one-on-one online platforms. My qualifications include perfect scores on the PSAT and SAT Math sections, a 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam, and a 4 on the AP Statistics exam. I’ve placed in the top 20 — and even top 5 — in high school/college-level calculus competitions, and I was honored with a Student Teacher Award for excellence in math instruction.

I often use Manim, a powerful math animation engine, to create custom visualizations that help students better grasp abstract or difficult concepts — especially in calculus and precalculus.
