About Lamont
Does it feel like math has become an obstacle to your academic goals? I have spent 13 years teaching students how to demystify complex topics while holding a BS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech.
My sessions cover exam preparation alongside statistics and probability plus calculus. We work through word problems and sharpen your problem-solving strategies to improve your arithmetic and number sense. It is genuinely rewarding to watch someone finally grasp a concept that has caused them frustration for weeks.

Sometimes the hardest part of learning is just figuring out where to start. I manage the pacing of our sessions based on your feedback so we never move too fast or too slow. We will move through difficult equations and logical proofs together until you gain complete confidence. I have taught 327 students how to approach math with a cool head and a sharp pencil.
Every student gets free access to my worked-solution notes after each class to assist with your independent study. Helping you solve the puzzle is the best part of my day.
