Teaching method and technique is to explain a math problem to the student showing them the steps and procedures. Then have my student apply the steps and procedures to solve the problem.
A typical lesson plan would include several problems that I would model then have my students do similar problems to check understanding. Then they will have practice after a 20-minute lesson.
What sets me apart as a tutor is first been called to be a teacher, second my ability to explain problem-solving well so that the student will understand. Anther attribute that sets me a part is having great patience with my students.
My lessons are for anyone that is in need of some additional help in grades K-12.
