I worked initially in the actuarial field after college as an actuarial analyst. Having not found career fulfillment in the corporate world, I utilized my Math education and skills to tutor privately as well as through various tutoring companies to supplement my income over the years.

Tutoring Math is different from tutoring other subjects. With Math, focus on repetition of solving problems is the most effective learning tool in understanding a concept. The joy comes when the student after much thought, problem solving and persistence understands the concept. My job is to coach the student along until the student can realize the skills necessary to learn mathematical lessons by his/herself.
