About Laurice
I graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and again in 2020 with my Master of Arts in Teaching for Secondary Mathematics. I taught high school math in Georgia for three years and tutored math while I was in college. During my three years in the classroom, I became a mentor teacher for new teachers and Rookie of The Year during my first year at the district.

I always work to meet the students where they are and check in frequently to ensure they are not lost. I strive to show students how math can be fun and how new concepts can connect to concepts the students already know. I have worked with all ages as a tutor or teacher from first grade to high school.
A typical lesson with me would start with answering any questions the student has from class and homework. Once all questions are answered, we will preview the upcoming material so the student can be prepared for class.

Perfect! Laurice was able to reach my son and help him connect to math in no way that any Tutor has been able to do for the last five years!
He had failed his math his freshman year and had to retake it during the summer and pass at least with a B- in a small window of 5 weeks!
