About Sylvester

Walking into a room to see a student staring at a complex geometry problem reminds me why I enjoy this work. I focus on trigonometry, mensuration, and linear algebra while helping students navigate word problems and SAT or ACT math prep.

My MEng from Oxford allows me to teach competition math and mental math using efficient strategies. I break down these concepts until they are almost insultingly small to ensure foundational mastery. Watching a student move from confusion to competence remains the most rewarding part of my week.
