About Sam
I'm a teacher and tutor who has given private lessons since 2015. I teach Math at all grade levels, in addition to standardized test prep and other subjects. I obtained a Bachelor's in History and a Doctorate in Law, before discovering my passion for education. It's my goal to provide the additional support and personalized attention that many students and their families need during this unpredictable time.

I cultivate a fun and collaborative learning style that moves at the student's pace. Depending on the topics(s) in a given lesson, I like to start by asking the student to think about what knowledge and skills they bring to the table already, then provide some "lecture" material to fill in the necessary gaps, and then work alongside the student to practice putting newly acquired concepts into effect.
