About Ria
I am a college student studying Computer Science at UC Berkeley. My past tutoring experience includes both part-time jobs and volunteering. My expertise lies in the math department. I teach elementary, middle school, and high school math. These topics include pre-calc, pre-algebra, algebra 1/2, and geometry. Additionally, I teach SAT math (I got a full score in the math section). I take pride in making student-specific lesson plans using each student's learning style in order to get the best results. I love teaching students! I have worked with students from 2nd grade all the way to 12th grade. My goal is to make learning fun for the students and make them comfortable with the topics they are struggling with. My teaching styles vary with the students. For example, some students are more visual learners while others learn best through a lot of practice. I am flexible with hours and prices. I am excited to work with you!
