About Emily
I studied educational science in high school and college. I did student teaching for middle school and high school as well as been tutoring individual students for over 15 years.
After student teaching, I got my Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics at the University of North Texas with a German minor. I've worked in a variety of teaching settings and taught Calculus I & II online for two years during Covid.

There are multiple ways to approach mathematics and there are a variety of solutions so that everyone can understand and thrive! I am highly adaptable to my students and cater lessons to individual learning styles.
Every student should feel impowered by math and not feel defeated by it. Due to my ability to think about problems from different points of views, students are stronger in their skills and more confident in themselves.
