I have prior private and volunteer tutoring experience with elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as experience working with special needs students, so I am extremely patient and adaptable to all sorts of students and situations to best help them learn the subjects they are struggling with.

My teaching method is working hands-on with the student by explaining a concept, demonstrating an approach to a problem, then allowing the student to try their hand at the approach to see where there are questions or difficulties. The most important part of tutoring for me is engagement with the student, so it is very common for me to ask the student questions to confirm their knowledge or have them ask me questions on what they have trouble understanding.
