About Shayan

I am a mathematics and computer science graduate from Warwick University. I have years worth of experience tutoring students of all ages up to my own age. In school I would regularly go around and help classmates who were struggling with programming tasks and explaining how to move forward with their problems.

About the lesson

When teaching a topic in python I will explain to my student what they will be learning, how it is used when coding and then give them programming tasks of varying difficulty to try and practice what they have learnt.

Perfect! I really enjoy my lessons with Shayan as he is a student friendly tutor who is very supportive. He is extremely intuitive in understanding your way of thinking, particularly where you have gone wrong. He is focused, plans lessons well and breaks difficult concepts down in an understandable manner by teaching with examples. I highly recommend him as a tutor as I have seen a big improvement in my coding abilities and self-confidence.

He is very observant and pays close attention to what I teach him. He is also very eager to learn and solve problems himself and only ask for help when needed which is an amazing attitude to have.

Shayan is patient and takes his time to explain mathematical concepts in a logical manner making great analogies and links to the real world with maths.
