About Joana
I'm a student at the University of Edinburgh going into her third year of Mathematics and Economics. I'm Spanish and Brazilian but went to a british school throughout my childhood. I have been tutoring kids since 2016, from a kid with dyslexia to a 8 year old to a 17 year old kid.

For me the most important thing about teaching is for it to be tailored to the student and his/her needs. In my classes I tend to follow a textbook and explain the concepts using real life examples and visual aids.
