About Natalia
I started teaching in high school, when my closest friends were struggling in math class so I would spend hours after school answering questions. I'm always happy to help out, but really I loved an excuse to talk math. Later I continued to tutor while studying for my Mathematics undergrad, and finally started tutoring professionally after graduating.
I love video games, rap and metal, sports and x-games.

I believe the best learning happens when playing so I encourage games and discussions to foster curiosity. Lessons can start with a warm up puzzle or a multiplication table competition. After reviewing the previous lesson, I'll ask the student to talk to me through their thought process on different problems so I can pin point their learning gaps and fortify their confidence. No homework unless the student asks. Learning is a privilege, not a punishment.
