About Tessa
My journey in mathematics began with a strong interest in numbers, patterns, and logical thinking. I completed a Master’s Degree in Mathematics, where I developed deep conceptual knowledge and problem-solving ability. Over the past 10 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds, helping them overcome difficulties and build confidence. Teaching math allows me to simplify complex ideas and support learners effectively.
My teaching style is clear, structured, and adaptable. I understand that each student learns differently, so I adjust my approach based on their needs. I focus on building strong basics, step-by-step problem solving, and regular practice. I also create a comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions and learn without pressure. This helps them stay motivated and engaged.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring mathematics through problem-solving and learning new methods. This helps me keep my lessons fresh and effective. Teaching math is meaningful to me because I see students grow in both confidence and ability. Helping them move from confusion to clarity and develop a strong belief in their own skills is something I truly value, and I am dedicated to supporting their long-term success.

Intermediate learners focus on applying formulas, solving structured problems, and improving accuracy. Advanced students work on complex problems, logical reasoning, and exam strategies. I provide guided practice, corrections, and repeated explanation wherever needed. This ensures steady improvement and strong understanding.
