About Julia
I am a student at the University of Portsmouth and I am looking to further my passion for Mathematics. I previously was following a teaching scholarship called FTS, before changing course from BSc Mathematics to BA Modern Languages after a change in career prospects.

I prefer to teach using diagrams in untraditional methods, helping students to understand complicated topics by helping them to see them from a new perspective. Each topic I teach flows naturally from one to the next; completing the square flowing to Pythagoras or shapes flowing to algebra.
I like to help students with the topics they find difficult first, then moving onto more complicated topics, ensuring they understand the first sections before moving on.
I will be able to teach in-person once COVID-19 isn't an issue.
