About Sarah
I am a qualified Mathematics teacher with a PGCE in Secondary Maths and QTS. I am passionate about teaching because it gives me the privilege of shaping and supporting young minds. This aligns with my personal belief that giving is more rewarding than receiving, and it is one of the greatest sources of fulfilment in my work. Working with children continually teaches me valuable lessons. Their candour, curiosity, and open-mindedness not only inspire me but also help me reflect on and refine my practice. I believe humility should always sit above ability, and I bring that mindset into my teaching. I am committed to continuous learning and always open to new strategies that can better support my students.

I have a proven track record of improving GCSE outcomes — over 60% of my most recent Year 11 class achieved their target grades, with several exceeding them. I enjoy challenges and believe in the resilience they build. My lessons include opportunities for stretch and challenge, helping students gain confidence while deepening their understanding. I am known for creating a warm, inclusive learning environment where every student feels supported, valued, and capable of success.
