About Eric
I have tutored throughout my career, my three children and many of their friends. I have been a children’s chess coach also since 1994. Taken junior high and elementary chess teams to national tournaments. I am young at heart though I am retired after 42 years of engineering.

I am interested in students seeing the beauty in mathematics and use many analogies and drawings. I like to train student to be neat and solve problems one step at a time. I don’t like when teaching material jumps from step to step assuming student knows it already. Also I’m stress free, I like to make tutoring enjoyable.
