About Yvonne
My interest in mathematics developed from a desire to understand patterns, structures, and problem-solving logic in the world around me. I completed a B.Sc in Pure Mathematics followed by an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, which allowed me to explore both theoretical and practical dimensions of the subject. Over the past 10 years, I have taught students across various levels, guiding them from foundational concepts to advanced problem-solving strategies with patience, clarity, and dedication.
I emphasize understanding, practice, and real-world application in my teaching. Lessons include interactive problem-solving, conceptual discussions, visual aids, and applied exercises, helping learners connect theory to practical outcomes. I encourage students to think independently, ask questions freely, and approach challenges with confidence and curiosity.
Beyond teaching, I engage with mathematical research, modeling, and analytical problem-solving, which enriches my lessons and keeps them relevant. Teaching mathematics is deeply rewarding because I witness learners grow from confusion to understanding, gaining both skill and confidence.
