We booked Joanna because she received excellent grades in her GCSEs, had plenty of experience teaching GCSE subjects and because she described her teaching process quite well in her bio. She was also planning to do a degree course in Medicine, something which my son is considering.

When she started providing English Language & Literature lessons to my son we quickly realised that she was very thorough and quick to gain an understanding of his needs and weaknesses. She prepared homework that was tailored for him. We are confident that her efforts and her approach to teaching will help my son to lift up his grades in the subjects that Joanna is helping him with.

Joanna is friendly and personable and interacts well with my son to stimulate his thinkng and to help him pick up new skills. I would definitely recommend Joanna for any GCSE student wishing to reach the upper GCSE grades.

Joanna has been teaching my 5 year old daughter how to play the piano for nearly a year now. My daughter has made very good progress during this time and is peparing for her first test. She is very patient and explains the theory very simply so that my daughter can pick up the terminology. Her teaching methods of of balancing theory with playing the piano during the lesson keeps my daughter engaged throughout the lesson. Joanna is someone my daughter looks up to and is inspired to play as well as Joanna, she builds really good relationships with her students. Joanna is exceptionally polite and comes across professional all the time. I would highly recommend Joanna as piano teacher.
