I am a teacher living in London. I currently work as a Secondary Maths Curriculum specialist for a company specialising in online maths tuition - I create their tutoring programmes, train the tutors who deliver them, and of course tutor myself!
Before that I worked in secondary schools in London for 8 years, as a Maths Teacher (with varying additional responsibilities such as Head of Department and Curriculum coordinator).
I enjoy tutoring and teaching because I love helping students reach their goals and overcome challenges that they have encountered in maths.
Alongside my current job I am also a practising artist - specialising in oil painting.

About the lesson

I have worked in education for 10 years and my teaching methods are backed by the most up to date research into appropriate teacher pedagogy.
I work hard to make sure my students feel supported, able to make mistakes and ask questions and receive the highest quality teaching.
I find one to one tutoring particularly rewarding as it is such a successful tool in building student confidence and ensuring rapid progress - it is a true gift to see my students develop so rapidly from week to week!
I usually offer tutoring sessions for an hour or an hour and a half - most of my students prefer to opt for an hour and a half.
