About Matthew

I have been tutoring for over seven years over a range of levels but mainly with students going through their GCSEs. All students have seen a marked improvement in their grades and, I hope, enjoyment in the study and appreciation of mathematics.

About the lesson

I specialise in GCSE and pre GCSE mathematics and like to focus on teaching maths in a fun way. A student who enjoys their lessons is more likely to put more work in and do well. I am patient, reliable and have a genuine passion for my subject.

Perfect! Terrific tutor - reliable and effective
Matthew helped turn our son's GCSE Core Science D grade into a B for his resit. Matthew came to the session prepared, was reliable and made sure he was available as the exam neared. He definitely made our son feel more prepared and confident for the exam. Would recommend (and have done) without hesitation.
