I have been teaching for 9 years across the age and ability range. My class groups have achieved expected and above expected grades. For example, grade G to C and grade C to A. This year a student achieved a grade 5 given their predicted a 3 for their GCSE.

I teach from Year 7 upto Year 11 students and have done for 9 years. The structure of my lessons are alwayss tailored to the needs of the student. This is determined through a mini assessment based on age related expectation and one to one conversation. It is vital for the student, parent and I to set a plan of action to make sessions engaging and purposeful leadingto strive and achieve the desired outcomes. The sessions will be in 3 stages: recap prior learning, develop new learning and review objectives and set independant learning tasks.
